Skid Detector
A hacker's nightlight.
Make it your light
Slow transitions by default. Your settings stay saved after power-off.
120 seconds is a gentle full spectrum. Solid color and warm white do not animate.

Nightlight and alert brightness share a power budget. Turning the nightlight off keeps detection and alerts running.

Passive radio observations are clues, not proof of a device's identity or intent.Alert rules
Optional buzzer
Connect a suitable passive piezo to the documented buzzer pin and ground. Enable it here, then choose which rules make sound.
Recent alerts
No alerts yet.
Last 24 alerts, held in RAM. Silence pauses sound and light alerts for five minutes; monitoring continues.Nearby radio observations

Radio & power
Off by default. Survey dwells 6 seconds per channel. Connecting a phone locks the current channel; the home channel takes effect after clients disconnect. Requires two consecutive busy windows for the same BSSID. Duplicate frames and protected frames are excluded. Legitimate mass disconnects can still resemble a burst. Default 500 mA for LEDs, plus the ESP32's own draw. Higher settings require a suitably rated external 5 V supply. Software limiting is an estimate.Device health
Wi-Fi coverage is limited to the current channel. BLE uses shared radio time. S2 builds have no Bluetooth. C5 currently monitors 2.4 GHz only.
